Who Am I?

I'm a dedicated Father, a loving Husband, and awesome friend, and a photography enthusiast. My goal is to work as a travel-writer/photo journalist for Lonely Planet or Nat Geo. I am exploring any and every means I can now to make that happen. I have been into photography for 6-7 years now, and am really delving into it. Reading books, magazines, blogs, watching youtube videos, and websites like DA have all been helping me discover my style, vision, and whats possible. I see photography as a way for me to share my experiences and travels with family and friends through my unique perspective. A picture is worth 1,000 words right?

I get a sense of freedom and a bit of isolation while taking photographs. The hobby of photography seemed a bit selfish initially, but the end product is for everyone's viewing pleasure ,not just my own, so I can justify it that way. It is a gripping passion of mine I developing. One which is constantly evolving, transforming, growing, and just when I think I have a hold where I want to be and BOOOM!! I see something that blows my mind from another artist (deviant) and my socks get rocked. I naturally seek adventure, and the excitement of shooting in potentially dangerous areas, or "restricted" locations is exhilarating.
